Make Up For Ever HD Pressed Powder Review

Along with my MUFE HD foundation purchase, I also bought this MUFE HD Pressed Powder, which my sister recommended for me, and as I have high expectations for MUFE products, I decided to purchase it. I'm happy I did purchase this powder because I really love it and the high expectations I had for MUFE products has been met so far.

Product Description
This foundation belongs to the HD range 'designed for the needs of high definition image using very fine ingredients for an invisible, natural make-up finish'.

'This pressed finishing powder sets your make-up and slightly matifies for a natural luminous finish without a trace of colour.'

'A real technical and sensory feat, this innovative delicately balances a blend of three high-tech ingredients: synthetic mica, silicone powders and silica even out the skin tone with an invisible result. This unique combination of ingredients, thanks to its soft focus effect, instantly fades away the appearance of fine lines and imperfections. HD Pressed Powder's lightweight, silky texture blends seamlessly and smoothes your skin. Enriched with hyaluronic acid, it prevents drying.'

MUFE's pressed powder - translucent.
 What I think...
Along with the foundation, I also love this pressed powder. It does such a great job at matifying my skin without making my skin look dry or cakey, which is what I absolutely love about this powder. Not only that, but it's very fast to apply because it matifies so quickly. Also, the fact that this powder is translucent makes it suitable for all skin tones, and therefore you do not need to worry about the shade of the powder.

Pros
  • Does not cakey or dry out skin
  • Matifies skin quickly
  • Translucent - suitable for all skin tones
Cons
  • Price
  • Availability in the UK
  • Must be careful not to transfer make-up onto the powder

The cons are the same as the foundation, which are only to do with the price and availability in the UK, but the product itself is amazing. I have yet to purchase a suitable brush for the powder and so, I've been using a sponge for the time being and I can see a little colour from my foundation has been pressed onto the powder, which I'm quite upset about so I'm hoping I can get a brush as soon as possible. Nevertheless, like the foundation, this is the best pressed powder I have tried. It's so quick to use and gives an amazing matifying finish without making my skin look cakey or dry, which is very important for me, so really thumbs up from me!!

My Rating: 4.5/5
